Terms of Service

1. Introduction and Acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MoDrama mobile application (package name com.modrama.app) and the website at https://modrama.share3union.com/ (together, the "Service"), operated by the MoDrama service operator, an individual independent developer ("we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use MoDrama. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.

You represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

3. Accounts

Certain features require an account. You may sign in using Google, Facebook, or email, as made available in the app. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.

Your account is identified by a unique user ID ("uid"). Subscriptions, watch progress, and favorites are associated with your uid. Notify us promptly at share3union@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. License to Content and Our Rights

MoDrama offers vertical short-form drama series. Some episodes are free; others may be locked until you subscribe or unlock them through rewarded advertising, as described below.

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to stream content through the Service for private, non-commercial viewing. This license does not include ownership of any content, software, or trademarks.

Video playback URLs ("play_url") are issued by our servers only after authorization checks (for example, subscription status, ad unlock, or free access). You may not copy, redistribute, record, scrape, or attempt to obtain play_url or content outside the authorized Service.

The Service does not offer offline downloads, a virtual coin wallet, or per-episode in-app purchases outside Google Play subscriptions and ad-based unlocks described in these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app or its security features;
• use bots, scripts, or automated tools to access content or bypass locks;
• share account credentials or resell access to the Service;
• infringe intellectual property or other rights of us or third parties;
• interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.

We may suspend or terminate access for conduct we reasonably believe violates these Terms or harms the Service or other users.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

MoDrama offers optional Google Play subscriptions that provide access to the full catalog for a selected period (daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly, as shown in the app). Prices, duration, and features are displayed before purchase.

All subscription billing, renewal, and payment processing is handled by Google Play Billing. Your subscription is tied to your MoDrama account (uid) and the Google account used for purchase.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period through Google Play subscription settings. You are responsible for managing cancellation in Google Play.

Except where required by Google Play policies or applicable law, fees already paid for the current period are non-refundable. Taxes may apply depending on your location.

7. Advertising and Ad Unlocks

Some locked episodes may be unlocked by watching rewarded video advertisements delivered through Google AdMob. Ad availability is not guaranteed and may vary by device, region, and inventory.

Ad unlocks apply to individual episodes as presented in the app and do not replace a subscription unless explicitly stated. We may change ad formats, frequency, or unlock rules at any time.

By using ad unlock features, you acknowledge that ads may use device identifiers, including an advertising ID where available, as further described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including drama titles, videos, artwork, software, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Except for the limited license above, no rights are granted to you.

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to share3union@gmail.com with: (a) identification of the work; (b) identification of the material claimed to be infringing; (c) your contact information; (d) a statement of good-faith belief; and (e) a statement, under penalty of perjury where applicable, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder.

9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access, or that content will always be available in every region or device.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us through Google Play in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) USD $50.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.

10. Termination and Account Deletion

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service or features.

You may request deletion of your account by emailing share3union@gmail.com with the subject line Delete Account from the email associated with your account (or with enough information for us to verify ownership). We will process deletion within a reasonable time, subject to legal retention requirements.

Upon termination, your license to use the Service ends. Provisions that by nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law) will survive.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide notice in the app or on our website. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree that disputes arising from these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
